We have been working on adding and subtracting negative numbers using a number line. Students have a homework sheet glued into their exercise books. Students to complete Questions 1,2 and 3.

For Question 1, students to use the number lines provided.(also stuck in books) Follow the example set.

Students can see me for help, during breaks and lunchtimes on Friday, Monday and Tuesday, but homework must be handed in on Wednesday 11th September.

Students to complete worksheet questions on Two Step Equations.

Students have a worksheet stuck in their maths exercise book on Percentages, which needs to be completed by Tuesday 23rd April.

If students need help, I am available at breaks and lunchtimes.

Students to complete the worksheet, writing coordinates and plotting coordinates.

Remember ‘along the corridor, up or down the stairs’.

Remember to use brackets e.g. ( 5,6)

Year 7 have a test on Monday. The class have been working through a revision booklet in maths today. Students can continue to work through this booklet.

Topics include

Names of angles, BIDMAS, 3D shapes, addition, subtraction and multiplication, rounding numbers, place value, area and perimeter and constructing triangles with ruler, compass and pencil.

Students have a homework sheet stuck into their exercise books.

Students must answer the questions using the correct order of operations. Also in books

e.g.Q B4 **6 – 3 x 2** – Do **3 x 2** first. Then take away from the 6.
