Work out the notes in the scales of G, D and Eb using the pattern TTSTTTS.
If you already know G and D, then try Ab and F#.
Identify the intervals given in today’s lesson.
Go to the “Interval Identification” exercises in the “Exercises” section of musictheory.net (https://www.musictheory.net/exercises/interval) and identify at least 20 intervals. Don’t worry if you get them wrong first time!
Decide which brief you are going to use for your second composition, and work on initial ideas, eg lyrics, chord sequences, or leitmotifs.
Finish, and hand in, free composition in draft form.
